The President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of his birthday, the presidential press service reported.
Armen Sargsyan wished good health and success to President Mirziyoyev, noting that the centuries-old friendship and mutual respect between the peoples of Armenia and Uzbekistan are a solid basis for further deepening of bilateral relations.
"Armenian-Uzbek relations have a great potential for development. We are ready for further joint work aimed at expanding cooperation and complementing it with joint programs in innovation and high technologies, agriculture, education, culture and a number of other sectors", the RA President's message reads.
