For several weeks now the Armenian National Committee (ANC) in Brussels has been actively working to draw the attention of the international community to Azerbaijan's aggressive actions targeting the civilian population.
Today at the call of the Armenian Committee of Belgium, the local Armenian community gathered and held a demonstration in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Brussels. The main demand is one - peace.
Hundreds of Armenians from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands came to join the rally, which turned into a riot as a result of provocative actions by the Azerbaijanis. The police intervened, even a water cannon was used.
One of our compatriots was seriously injured in the head, while the Azeris continued to throw eggs beyond the bars of their embassy.
