On 22.07.2020 The European Court of Human Rights satisfied the application on urgent measures in the case of Narek Sardaryan, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, imprisoned in Azerbaijan. The Former RA Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan informs about this.
"On behalf of the wife, parents and sister of Narek Sardaryan, on July 19, 2020, we submitted an application (Artak Zeynalyan, Arayik Ghazaryan) to the European Court of Human Rights, against Azerbaijan, demanding to apply an urgent measure.
On 08.07.2020, Narek Sardaryan (30), a resident of Nerkin Khndzoresk village, who is engaged in cattle breeding, went on horseback to the departed animals, but did not return. A few days of searching did not yield any results.
Later a video was posted on the Internet from Nakhichevan, in which Sardaryan tells how he surrendered to the Azerbaijani military and asked for political asylum", Artak Zeynalyan said.
