Arsen Torosyan received the delegation from Germany
The RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan received a delegation from Germany, which assists Armenia in the fight against coronavirus.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Federal Republic of Germany and others.
Torosyan thanked the German side for the valuable assistance and exchange of experience. He said that the experience of developed countries in overcoming the epidemic could be directed to improving the health systems of developing countries.
For his part the German Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the evaluation of the work done by the mission, emphasizing that the knowledge gained about the epidemic will help to overcome the difficulties more easily. The ambassador stressed that the team has completed its mission and is returning to Germany in anticipation of new professional cooperation.
The visit of the German medical team was organized by the joint efforts of the RA Ministry of Health, the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German Government, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Armenia, the European Union and the World Health Organization.
