"Tonight, the House adopted my amendment to enhance protections for human rights around the world.
It requires Department of Defense to explicitly report any foreign military units that have received financial assistance from the United States through security cooperation programs", the US Congressman Pallone wrote on Twitter.
In this regard, the head of the RA NA "My Step" faction Lilit Makunts wrote on her Facebook page:
"This means that US assistance to Azerbaijan will be under very transparent, tightened control so that it is not used for military purposes against Armenia".
