According to the information department of the RA Ministry of Defense, in recent days the Ministry has been receiving thousands of calls and letters from individual citizens, as well as from certain groups and organizations of freedom fighters, requesting allow to volunteer and travel to border areas.
The Ministry of Defense expresses its deep gratitude to our citizens for their readiness to support the defense of the Homeland's borders, nevertheless announces that at this moment there is no need to volunteer.
The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia continues to confidently fulfill all the tasks set before it, to fully control the situation along the entire border, delivering a worthy counterattack to the enemy in case of any provocation.
If there is a need to volunteer, the Ministry of Defense will make a special statement, the statement reads.
