At around 03:40 at night the soldiers guarding positions of the RA Armed Forces noticed the movement of the enemy. Switching to a circular defense the Armenian units prevented the enemy's subversive penetration attempt. Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan wrote about this on her Facebook page.
"After the hot battle the enemy, suffering losses, was thrown back. Then, at 05:20, the Azerbaijani units started shelling the villages of Aygepar, Movses, using a D-30 howitzer. The fire is still going on.
RA Armed Forces subdivisions neutralize provocations of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces", wrote Stepanyan.
"This is the first gross violation of the fragile ceasefire established since 00:15 yesterday," the speaker said.
