Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan made a post on his Facebook page, urging Tavush residents to be extremely vigilant.
"Dear citizens of Tavush, please be extremely careful, take a refuge in hiding places, shelters.
The enemy's attempt of subversive penetration was prevented, the Azerbaijani side was thrown back with losses", he wrote.
