OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, called for an immediate return to the ceasefire along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Rama noted that he was deeply concerned about the escalation of violence seen along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and called for an immediate ceasefire as long as there were no more casualties.
He also noted that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the President-in-Office, are in close contact with the parties to restore stability to the situation.
"We must all do our utmost to reduce the impact of the conflict on human life and to resume substantive talks as soon as possible", he stated.
