The enemy resumed provocative actions in the morning and continued firing at the Armenian positions. Spokeswoman for the RA Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan announced this on her Facebook page.
"After a two-three-hour break in the morning the enemy resumed the provocative actions, continuing shelling in the direction of the Armenian positions. An adequate response was given by the units of the Armed Forces. Increase of the opponent's losses is not ruled out", she wrote.
Earlier, Shushan Stepanyan stated that the Armenian armed forces do not fire on Azerbaijani settlements. Only the engineering infrastructure and technical means of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are targeted. She informed that the shootings continue with different intensity. The Armenian Armed Forces have no casualties. All attempts of the opponent are targeted և neutralized.
To remind - On July 12 Stepanyan informed that the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces at around 12:30 tried to cross the RA state border in the direction of Tavush. At 13:45 the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces repeated the attempt to occupy the Armenian border position, using artillery fire, but were suppressed by the Armenian side, suffered losses and being thrown back.
