On July 13 The RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a telephone conversation with the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Joseph Borrell.
Minister Mnatsakanyan presented the continuous steps taken by Azerbaijan to aggravate the situation in the north-eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border since July 12, including targeting the civilian population of the RA military-civilian infrastructure.
The RA Foreign Minister emphasized that the RA resolutely defending its borders and population, acts from the position of easing the tension. At the same time, the Armenian Foreign Minister condemned Turkey's attempts to undermine regional security.
The interlocutors touched upon regional stability and security issues.
