At today's special sitting of the RA government the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan presented the number of new cases confirmed in the last two days, adding that the low rate on Sunday is conditioned by the small number of tests.
"The number of extremely severe and severe patients is still high - about 650 people, 43 of whom are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. Unlike resuscitation units, which are still almost completely full, ordinary oxygen beds are relatively free. In this respect, we have very little positive dynamics.
"As of 9:00 in the morning we do not have a citizen waiting for hospitalization, we have only one citizen waiting to be transferred from a non-coronavirus hospital to a coronavirus hospital", the minister said, adding that last week that figure was 20.
Torosyan added that all anti-epidemic measures should be taken continuously and if this stable, slightly easing situation persists, other decisions may be made in terms of emergency state.
