The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported that two servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were killed and five others were wounded in an incident on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border today.
Earlier the RA Ministry of Defense
informed that today at around 12:30 the servicemen of the Azerbaijani AF made an attempt to cross the RA state border in the direction of Tavush in a UAZ car for unknown reasons. After the warning of the Armenian side, the Azerbaijani servicemen left their UAZ car and returned to their position.
At 13:45 the Azerbaijani servicemen repeated the attempt to occupy the Armenian border position, using artillery fire, but were supressed by the Armenian side, suffered losses and being thrown back. There are no losses from the Armenian side.
