The Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan said that the long-standing dream of many Stepanakert residents will soon come true: 110 kV and 35 kV overhead lines will be removed from the capital within the coming year.
"Today I personally visited the area of the new 110/35/10 kV substation in Stepanakert where active construction works are underway. The cost of the investment program is more than 2 billion AMD, and in 2019-2023 the company is going to invest a total of 17.5 billion drams in the modernization of high-voltage electricity network in Artsakh.
As a result the energy system of Artsakh will enter a new stage of development, having a better quality, reliable, secure electricity supply", the Artsakh President said.
