Today the RA President Armen Sargsyan arrived in Artsakh on a working visit. The meeting of the President of Armenia with the President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan took place in Stepanakert.
The President Sargsyan once again congratulated Arayik Harutyunyan and wished him success, expressing confidence that he will continue to successfully serve the homeland with his experience and knowledge. "Through you I want to congratulate all the people of Artsakh, because the presidential and parliamentary elections were held in a democratic way", the RA President said, adding. "I would like to thank the other participants in the presidential election, who did not personally win, but won together, showing the world that Artsakh is not only strong and powerful, but also a democratic country, a free country where free elections are held.
They should be proud of their contribution to the process. I want to wish you, as well as all the citizens of Artsakh, health first. I am confident that we will overcome this difficult situation, we will move forward, strengthening the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh".
Expressing gratitude the Artsakh President noted that most of the candidates running in the presidential elections are part of the current political power and are ready to ensure the country's progress and development. Those who are not involved also continue their activities for the sake of Artsakh.
Arayik Harutyunyan thanked the Armenian authorities for supporting the programs aimed at the development of Artsakh. "I want to note that together we will succeed not only in overcoming the situation, but also in ensuring progress in the development of our homelan", he said.
A number of current and perspective programs aimed at strengthening and developing the Artsakh Republic were touched upon during the meeting.
