On July 9, the RA Minister of Defense David Tonoyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia Tian Erlong to discuss issues of mutual interest at the RA Ministry of Defense administrative complex.
The meeting was also attended by the Military Attaché for Defense of the Chinese Embassy in Armenia.
The parties noted the high level of Armenian-Chinese relations the military-political dialogue in almost all spheres of cooperation, including in the defense sphere.
The ways of further development and expansion of cooperation were discussed. They also exchanged views on regional and international security issues.
David Tonoyan thanked the Chinese Ambassador for supporting the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the fight against the coronavirus.
