The RA Embassy in Russia is aware of the problems of the RA citizens in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod, as well as the RA citizens hwo are in the temporary detention centers for foreigners operating in other Russian cities, and is taking appropriate steps. The RA Embassy in Russia informs about this.
"Regarding the information in the Armenian press about the citizens in Nizhny Novgorod, we inform that the RA Embassy in Russia is taking appropriate measures to return them to Armenia.
Let us add that according to the RF laws, foreign citizens staying in the mentioned centers can return to their country of origin only accompanied by representatives of the relevant migration bodies", the statement reads in part.
