The RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan delivered a message on the occasion of the Constitution Day, which, in particular, reads․
"Dear compatriots, Congratulations to all of us on the Constitution Day. The Constitution is, first of all, a civil agreement signed between the state and the citizen, by which the foundations of the state's activity are laid by the citizen.
According to the Constitution, the citizen decides the limits of the law, where the authority of the state institution begins and ends, what are the main goals that the state should strive for.
The citizen of the Republic of Armenia has defined that he wants to see a sovereign, legal, social and democratic state, where a person is the highest value. These are the goals for which we serve the citizen of the Republic of Armenia.
Adhering to the principle of statehood, these days of pandemic we need more than ever to show high consciousness and solidarity for the sake of the state and the right to life”.
