The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a working meeting with the leadership of the RA Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces, headed by the Defence minister David Tonoyan and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan.
During the meeting the possible developments in the military-political situation in the region and the plan for the use of the armed forces were discussed.
In his speech, the Prime Minister in particular noted. "In today's discussion I consider it very important to state that we have a fairly good pace and quality of development of the Armed Forces today.
I would like to state that for our Government this direction is not just a priority, but the first priority, because the ambitions that the Armenian people have adopted and stated can become a reality if the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are adequate to the military-political situation around our country and they will be able to respond to all challenges".
