Within the framework of working visit to Artsakh the RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan. The RA Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan wrote about it on her Facebook page.
A wide range of issues related to foreign policy challenges were discussed, the Artsakh presidential press service reported.
Special reference was made to the recent developments in the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict. In this context it has been emphasized that destructive and aggressive rhetoric of the Azerbaijani military-political leadership deprives the parties of the opportunity to make progress in the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
The President Harutyunyan reaffirmed the commitment of official Stepanakert to the peaceful settlement of the issue within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group and the need for the Artsakh Republic to participate in the talks as a full-fledged party.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Artsakh Republic Masis Mailyan took part in the meeting.
