Once we understand what the desired result is, we can talk about whether the government's steps in the fight against coronavirus are effective or not. All the citizens treated in the hospitals receive proper medical care, which has not happened in many developed countries, so the Government's efforts in this regard are reasonable and appropriate. The RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated this at a briefing with journalists.
"As for the fact that the numbers, unfortunately, do not go down, it depends not only on the steps of the government, but also on the behavior of all of us. We don't have an explosive situation. According to all forecasts, we should have had more than 30,000 infected people now, but we have 27,000 at the moment. In other words, to some extent we have been able to curb the spread since mid-June", the minister said.
"The situation is better today than yesterday", Torosyan stated.
