The court hearing on the case of Serzh Sargsyan and others scheduled for today has been postponed due to the absence of the accused persons. The lawyers said that the courtroom is small, maintaining the social distance and other security rules were impossible to follow.
Judge Vahe Misakyan said that the absence of participants in the next court hearing would be considered inadmissible. The next sitting will be held on August 6.
According to the indictment, Serzh Sargsyan is accused of organizing of wasting about half a billion drams.
