On June 29, the RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a telephone conversation with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker.
The interlocutors exchanged detailed views on the problems caused by the new type of coronavirus and the steps taken to overcome them at the national level, emphasizing the need for international solidarity and cooperation in the fight against the epidemic. In this context Minister Mnatsakanyan thanked the US Government for the financial assistance provided to Armenia.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Philip Reeker touched upon a number of issues on the bilateral agenda. The implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the Armenian-American Strategic Dialogue and within the framework the Armenian-American Trade and Investment Council has been concidered important.
The interlocutors discussed a number of issues of international and regional importance, exchanged views on the latest developments in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
