In a conversation with 1lurer.am Edgar Ghazaryan, Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court, informed that judges of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan and Arevik Petrosyan are on vacation from today.
He did not answer the question of how many days the members of the CC went on vacationm, only said that both of them took advantage of their vacation days, and Alvina Gyulumyan will assume the duties of the chairwomen of the Constitutional Court.
To remind - The members whose 9-year term of office has expired, Felix Tokhyan, Hrant Nazaryan and Alvina Gyulumyan, are leaving the 9-member staff of the Constitutional Court with the constitutional amendments coming into force today.
As a result of these changes, Ashot Khachatryan, Arevik Petrosyan, Araik Tunyan and Hrayr Tovmasyan will continue to serve in the newly formed group of members elected by the previous constitutions.
