Within the framework of international cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic, with the support of the EU Emergency Response Coordination Center, the Italian Embassy in Armenia and the World Health Organization, a humanitarian mission, consisting of 11 medical workers of the Italian Civil Defense Service, arrived in Armenia from Italy on June 26.
The same plane transported the necessary medical supplies for the mission to Armenia.
The mission was met at the airport by the RA Deputy Ministers of Health and Foreign Affairs, the Ambassador of Italy to Armenia, the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia. The mission will operate in Armenia for three weeks.
