Today the RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated at an online press conference that Armenia's healthcare system will be stronger after the fight against the coronavirus epidemic. According to him this situation is an opportunity for the development of the healthcare system.
"Health capacities are now being increased which will be used to fight other diseases in the future, although human lives, destinies, human energy and time will be included in it", Torosyan said.
The Minister also informed that a case of death of a medical worker from a coronavirus was registered in Armenia. "We already have one victim from the medical staff, that's why we emphasize that the protection of the medical staff is very important", said Torosyan, urging citizens to follow the anti-epidemic rules.
He stressed that the Armenian health care system is moving on the basis of evidence in the world, which is regularly updated. He also spoke about international cooperation. According to the Minister the attention to the healthcare system has sharply increased.
