The tornado destroyed Geghanist, damaged the gas pipeline and cut off electricity to part of the village. In this community of Shirak region the storm also tore off the roofs of houses, uprooted trees and overturned pillars.
People were not affected but according to the governor, 50 farms were affected. The damage is being calculated now to present to the government.
