Gayane Abrahamyan, the head of the Armenian parliamentary delegation to the EaP Parliamentary Assembly touched upon Armenia's foreign policy.
"Again about foreign policy, the fact that every day they shout that we have failed. Yesterday, the European Parliament approved the official proposals on the Eastern Partnership with 507 votes in favor and 119 against.
The European Parliament is urging the EU's top institutions, such as the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, to reaffirm their support for the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, "aiming to achieve a solution based on international law, the UN Charter and the 1975 Helsinki Final Act».
The European Parliament also called on the above-mentioned bodies to "encourage all parties to intensify the dialogue and refrain from inflammatory rhetoric, which will further jeopardize any prospects for a settlement."
This is the official position of the European Parliament on the issues related to the EU foreign policy agenda, including the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and not the statement of the three MPs circulating a few days ago", Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page.
