The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote a letter to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in which in particular said.
"Dear Mr. President, I am sorry to tell you that I will not be able to take part in the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
As you know, I gladly accepted your invitation to participate in the ceremonies. However, as it turned out the current epidemic does not allow me to make that journey. Based on this, I decided to refrain from my visit to Moscow.
It would be a great honor for me to follow this jubilee parade. I am sure that millions of citizens of our countries will follow this solemn event, remembering the distant year 1945, when our grandparents walked proudly across Red Square.
Victory in the Great Patriotic War is our common heritage. The memory unites our peoples and creates an unshakable foundation for the friendship of future generations.
I look forward to our upcoming meeting which will provide an opportunity to discuss issues on the agenda of allied relations between our countries.
Accept, Mr. President, my best wishes for good health and success in your endeavors”.
