During the question-and-answer session with the deputies in the parliament the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the last statements made by Azerbaijan. Pashinyan noted that since the 2018 the principle the Government has taken on in Karabakh issue and regional policy is based on the content of peace, which is visible to the international community.
"Azerbaijan's long-standing policy is based on the logic of belligerent statements. I think that the main goal of these statements is for the people of Artsakh, the people of Armenia to perceive the whole process of the settlement of the Karabakh issue through the prism of fear. Only then this policy could be conditionally effective.
But since the Armenian people especially in Artsakh issue do not have a habit of perceiving the issue through fear, we have said that it is impossible for the Republic of Armenia to be forced to negotiate by azerbaijan's scenario.
The Azerbaijani government has a problem explaining to its own people why their approach is not working. And in order to answer that question they raise further the belligerent rhetoric to make a greater impression on their people", said the Prime Minister, adding that his call to the President of Azerbaijan remains the same: to agree with his proposal, which is - The settlement must be acceptable to the peoples of Artsakh, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
