The RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan made a note on his Facebook page, explaining three issues. To remind - yesterday an incident took place in front of the NSS building, during the police actions journalists were injured as a result of pushing each other, their professional work was hindered.
"At the moment I want to clarify 3 issues:
1. The issues related to the professional work of journalists are under my direct attention. We will study the videos of the incident with the police in detail and according to the results of the investigation we will decide the issue of our next steps. We will work with journalists individually.
2. I talked to athlete Roman Amoyan today on my initiative. We have initiated a separate proceeding on that issue.
3. At the moment, a group of my staff is working in one of the police departments, according to the received alarm.
PS. I urge everyone to follow the rules of prevention of new coronavirus", the RA ombudsman wrote.
