The parliament is discussing the motion of the RA Prosecutor General to agree to prosecute Gagik Tsarukyan, MP, leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party.
RA Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan presented it to the deputies in the parliament.
According to the Prosecutor General, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case provided a combination of sufficient evidence, which substantiates that Gagik Tsarukyan, being the leader of the "Tsarukyan" bloc of parties, In the run-up to the April 2, 2017 elections organized a campaign to bribe voters to vote for candidates running in the electoral list of the bloc he leads.
