The RA General Prosecutor's Office has issued a statement according to which the combination of evidence obtained in the criminal case related to Tsarukyan gives sufficient grounds to involve Gagik Tsarukyan, a deputy of the RA National Assembly, as an accused in that case.
According to the prosecutor's office the grounds are sufficient to charge him with the act committed during the April 2017 elections. According to the investigation he organized the distribution of bribes to the voters to vote for the candidate nominated by the "Tsarukyan" bloc.
RA Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan appealed to the RA National Assembly to agree to prosecute Gagik Tsarukyan, a member of the RA National Assembly, to involve him as a defendant and to charge him, as well as to deprive him of liberty.
