The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent congratulatory messages to Russian President Vladimir Putin and PM Mikhail Mishustin on the occasion of Russia Day.
The message addressed to Vladimir Putin, in particular, reads:
"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,
I cordially congratulate you on the state holiday, Russia Day. This holiday is inextricably linked with the political, socio-economic achievements of the Russian Federation, the strengthening of its role in the international arena.
The allied relations between Armenia and Russia continue to develop steadily for the benefit of the peoples of our countries, and cooperation in almost all spheres of Armenian-Russian cooperation is strengthening and expanding.
The centuries-old history of friendship and trust, the strong fraternal ties of our peoples are a solid foundation for constructive cooperation and mutual support, not only at the bilateral level, but also within the framework of international organizations and integration unions.
I sincerely hope that in the near future our countries will be able to overcome the temporary difficulties of unprecedented global challenges and threats, and we will be able to restore traditional close ties.
On this holiday I wish you, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, good health, happiness and further success, and the brotherly people of Russia - peace and prosperity".

Armenian-Russian allied relations based on centuries-old friendship between our peoples are reflected in international platforms, especially in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union in a constructive and mutually beneficial strategic partnership.
We can note with satisfaction the post-consistent strengthening cooperation between our countries in trade, economic, energy, military-political, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
I hope that the epidemiological situation in the world will be resolved in the near future which will allow us to fully resume close ties in order to implement new ideas and initiatives.
