Today during the special session of the Government the Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan presented the issue of extending the state of emergency for a month.
Presenting the indicators of new cases of infection and death registered in the republic as of yesterday Badasyan said. "Since March 16, 2020 the number of cases has increased by 14,639. It is clear that the reasons for declaring a state of emergency continue to exist, and in order to ensure a proper and effective mechanism for responding to them, it is necessary to extend the state of emergency again”.
According to the Minister it is proposed to extend the state of emergency until July 13 at 17:00. Afterwards Minister Badasyan presented some changes in the government's approach to the new state of emergency. The state of emergency in RA was extended for another month.
