As a result of telephone conversations between Armenian President Armen Sargsyan and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia will soon provide large-scale humanitarian assistance to Armenia in support of the fight against the coronavirus epidemic, the RA presidential press service reported.
In the coming days two planes will arrive in Armenia from Serbia on a special flight fully loaded with a large number of medical supplies and equipment. In particular 10 artificial respiration devices, 10 monitors monitoring the patient's condition, 500,000 surgical and 100,000 breathing masks, 25,000 protective goggles, 25,000 medical protective equipment and other necessary items will be delivered to Armenia.
The total cost of Serbian assistance to Armenia initiated by President Sargsyan and supported by the President of Serbia will be about $ 1 million.
During a telephone conversation with the President of Serbia President Armen Sargsyan thanked Alexander Vucic and friendly Serbian people for their continued warm attitude towards Armenia and the Armenian people.
