10 doctors from France will arrive in Armenia on a special flight to support the RA healthcare system in the fight against coronavirus. The RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated this in a talk with journalists in NA today.
"We have planned visits of medical personnel from abroad. We have a visit of 10 doctors from France on a special flight tomorrow. Lithuanian doctors will visit next week. There are about 50 doctors who have expressed a wish from Russia, who will most likely visit and work here for a few weeks", the minister said.
Arsen Torosyan noted that negotiations are underway with the European Office of the World Health Organization regarding the visit of specially created medical teams, either Polish or Israeli, but that decision is not final yet.
It should be reminded that yesterday the Prime Minister of Georgia announced that a group of Georgian doctors will leave for Armenia to support in fight against the epidemic.
