At the core of our international foreign policy agenda is the value-based, collaborative approach, which has been especially emphasized in the current situation, when we are all fighting against the new challenges of the pandemic. The RA Foreign Minister stated this in the Parliament.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan emphasized that no country alone can face global challenges. The cooperation is an important tool for international stability and security, he added. "Armenian diplomacy confirmed in 2019 that sovereignty is the most important principle of Armenia's foreign policy", Mnatsakanyan said.
The Minister emphasized that the main priority of the foreign policy of the Republic of Armenia was to ensure the security of Armenia and Artsakh and the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
"During the year it was possible to reach two agreements to prepare the peoples for peace and create a favorable environment for peace. Within that framework program of exchange of media representatives of Armenia, Artsakh and Azerbaijan was implemented", Mnatsakanyan said.
The Minister stated that Armenia has clearly defined its approaches to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict which have been expressed on various occasions.
