According to today's data 566 new cases of infection have been registered in Armenia, and I want we to analyze what that figure means. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at today's briefing.
"It is a reflection of the situation how we followed the anti-epidemic rules 7-14 days ago, what behavior we had.
We are confident that adherence to anti-epidemic rules will lead to zero cases. Results of observance of these rules can be seen in 1-2 weeks, as the incubation period of the disease is so long.
These figures show that we did not follow those rules 7-14 days ago, but today we can predict with our behavior how many cases of infection will be registered in Armenia in 7-14 days”, Pashinyan said.
He informed that a special session of the government will be held tomorrow where a decision will be made on the extension of the state of emergency. "After the decision is made a special sitting of the National Assembly will be held, and we will discuss the details of what we are going to do next", the Prime Minister said.
