According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on June 9 at 10:34 pm the National Crisis Management Center received an alarm that the bodies of three men had been found in the hole of an unexploited gold mine near Meghradzor community, and rescuers help is needed.
Employees of the fire-rescue detachment of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Emergency Situations Ministry left for the scene. The bodies of Hayk S. (born in 1986), Bagrat Kh. (born in 1991) and Aram G. (born in 1993) were found in the shaft.
The rescuers took the bodies out of the shaft and brought them to the ambulance.
