The "City of Smile" Charitable Foundation had organized an online charity fundraiser from May 2 to June 2. About 17 million drams were collected during that time. The main donations were made by our compatriots in Armenia, Russia and the United States.
"We thank you for every donated dram (AMD). We thank all the TV companies that supported us, showing the video of the fundraiser for free for a month, all the journalists who regularly covered our event. Thank you for all the feedback, letters and encouraging words.
During the two years of its operation the "City of Smile" Foundation has provided more than 300 children and young people under the age of 25 from Armenia and Artsakh with free treatment, medicine, surgery, meals and social - psychological services.
During this period the foundation provided support worth more than 495,000,000 AMD. On a monthly basis, the foundation provides support of 30-40 million drams. According to statistics, in Armenia and Artsakh 70% of children with cancer and blood diseases are treated.
The foundation will continue to adhere to its principles and will continue to support children with cancer", the foundation said in a statement.
