The issue of adopting in the first reading the package of the draft law "On Making amendments to the Constitutional Law of the NA Rules of Procedure" submitted by the deputy of "My Step" faction Vahagn Hovakimyan was put to a vote in the parliament today.
The bill was passed with 81 votes in favor and 19 against.
To remind - While presenting this bill the deputy had noted that it is proposed to change the procedure for electing judges of the Constitutional Court of Armenia. Hovakimyan also noted that the bill gives the parliament an opportunity to organize the election of judges of the Constitutional Court during a special session if necessary.
