The Prime Minister of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang has wished the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and his family a speedy recovery from the coronavirus.
"I was worried to learn that you and your family have been diagnosed with a new coronavirus. In this regard, I express my sincere support. I wish you and your relatives a speedy recovery. I express my readiness to make joint efforts for the bilateral relations and cooperation in many spheres to achieve further success for the benefit of our countries and peoples", Li Keqiang said.
The Prime Minister of PRC stressed that since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, China and Armenia have strongly supported each other, which fully reflects the high level of mutual trust between the two countries and the deep friendship between the two peoples.
"I am confident that the Armenian government and people will win the epidemic. The Chinese side is ready to provide further assistance to Armenia in the fight against coronavirus", the statement said.
