In the first ten days of July a "Kalashnikov" automatic rifles factory will be openned in Armenia. Igor Gordienko, a representative of the company, told InfoPort.am about this.
First the military-industrial plant will assemble AK 103 rifles. The details will be supplied from Russia at the initial stage. "After the first stage we will start the second stage, which involves the local production of simple parts needed for assembly, again with Russian technology", said Gordienko.
According to him, the company must constantly provide technical and other conditions. Gardenko stressed that the capacity of the plant allows to produce tens of thousands of rifles.
