Today in her speech the leader of the NA "My Step" faction Lilit Makunts drew the attention of the international community to Azerbaijan's belligerent statements.
"Recently, Aliev made another belligerent statement, which was followed by a threatening statement by the Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, in which he acknowledged that Azerbaijan had unleashed four-day war in the April 2016.
I would like to emphasize that the response to the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan, as it was in the 1990s, 2016 and any other time, will be more than adequate and strong", said Lilit Makunts.
According to her it is important to draw the attention of the international community to these statements, as Azerbaijan continues to violate one of the three key principles adopted by the Minsk Group, the principle of exclusion of force and the threat of force.
"I am convinced that the international community, the international organizations responsible for world peace, which have made additional statements regarding the COVID-19 pandemic these days, should not be indifferent to this behavior of Azerbaijan, because the indifference can release Aliev's hands and lead to a new era of escalation in the region.
But it will have a strong response and catastrophic consequences first of all for Azerbaijan", Lilit Makunts assured.
