The RA state governing bodies continue presenting the 2019 activity reports in Government. The report on the activities of the Ministry of High Technological Industry was presented today at the discussion chaired by PM Pashinyan. Minister Hakob Arshakyan made a report.
According to the Minister, the ministry has developed high-tech industries, including military-industrialization, digitalization and telecommunications promotion in the reporting period. It was noted that the total turnover in this sector increased by 30%, the share of high-tech industry turnover in GDP increased by 2.4%.
The number of companies in the sector has increased by 25%, which, according to Arshakyan, is conditioned by the provision of privileges and grants to the newly established companies. It's also recorded an increase in employment in the sector of about 21 percent.
