On May 28 at 13:20, 70 RA citizens at the Upper Lars checkpoint, as well as the RA citizens registered at the RA Consulate General in Russia's Rostov-on-Don, were sent to Armenia by 3 buses provided by the RA Government.
The RA Consulate General in Rostov-on-Don informs that this transfer was made as an exception, the entry of foreign citizens to Georgia through the Upper Lars checkpoint is still closed.
Upper Lars checkpoint in neighboring Georgia is the only land road linking Armenia to Russia.
