"Dear compatriots,
Congratulations to all of us on the occasion of the First Republic Day.
102 years ago these days, the incredible feat of Sardarapat, Bash-Aparan, Gharakilisa laid a ground for building the first Republic of Armenia. And that is the best proof of the invincibility of our arm, mind and will.
From the very first day the founding fathers of the First Republic faced unequal war, starving refugees from genocide, famine, epidemic, and other serious problems, many of which were addressed at the expense of superhuman efforts. Within two years the foundations of state institutions were laid, steps were taken that were not only aimed at solving the problems of that day, but also were promising, ambitious, and had a dream of a great and powerful Armenia.
Now that the Republic of Armenia has returned to the system of parliamentary government that existed in the First Republic, we are called to continue the work of Aram Manukyan, Hovhannes Kajaznuni, Nzhdeh and others.
Glory to the heroes of the May 1918 heroic battle. Congratulations to all of us".
