At today's sitting of the government, the RA Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan informed that during the last week the police has made 966 protocols.
"240 protocols have been drawn up on the fact of lack of masks among citizens, 657 protocols on passenger transport, of which 594 against taxis, and 63 against public transport, bus drivers and economic entities. Yesterday, in the case of 69 passenger vehicles it was registered that the citizens were traveling without observing the requirements", Sargsyan stated.
The Chief of Police also mentioned that a sufficient number of checkpoints have already been installed on the interregional highways of Armenia, which will check the level of observance of the rules.
Arthur Asoyan, the head of the Office for the Coordination of Inspections, said at a government meeting that about 87 public catering establishments had been closed in a week, and 12 more would be closed today.
In total, the Food Safety Inspectorate provided advice to 9,561 businesses in the sector. Within a week, the health inspection body has already suspended the activities of 290 economic entities for 24 hours, Asoyan said.
