Today's government session began with discussions on the situation with the coronavirus. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan mentioned that we are dealing with the second wave of the epidemic.
"As a result of detailed consultations with specialists, we have come to the conclusion that in order to zero our coronavirus indicators, it is necessary to apply three simple rules: wear a mask, disinfect and wash your hands regularly, and keep social distance”, said the Prime Minister, adding that it is now a matter of changing public behavior.
The Prime Minister noted that today's indicators show that we have not learned to live in parallel with the coronavirus, while it is necessary, as the coronavirus will be present in our lives for another year.
"If we do not manage to prevent the spread of the coronavirus through public behavior, we will always face such a situation. Our task is to ensure the observance of the rules in two ways. The first is public communication and raising awareness of our compatriots in the fight against coronavirus. Rules have been set, the observance of which guarantees to 90% that we will not have cases of coronavirus spread.
The second method is administrative. We have decided to tighten the methods of administrative coercion on a daily basis", said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
